Dr. Chaurasia is a dedicated interventional cardiologist with vast experience in Adult, Paediatric, and Peripheral interventions. He is nationally and internationally recognized for his work in the field of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR). He is one of the first proctors for TAVI in India. He has to his credit one of the highest numbers of TAVI/TAVR procedures in India (more than 1000). He has also performed Transcatheter Pulmonary Valve Replacement (TPVR) in the smallest conduit in India. He also performs Transcatheter mitral Valve Replacements (TMVR) and has a special interest in BMV and Mitra-clip as well. He also has more than 50 left atrial appendage closures to his credit. 

Apart from TAVI, he is an expert in complex coronary interventions like Left main intervention, chronic total occlusion (CTO), and other complex procedures and regularly conducts workshops at various places. He has performed more than 10,000 cardiac procedures to date. He also performs ASD, VSD, PDA, pulmonary AV fistula device closures. He has a special interest in performing carotid and aortoiliac interventions, including intervention for aortic aneurysm and dissections (TEVAR and EVAR).
